Multi-finish is the most versatile of the finish plasters available on the market and ideal for the novice plasterer as it has a longer working time than Board Finish. Multi-finish can be applied on to

  • Dry Undercoats - i.e. bonding applied the day before. This will need to be dampened first though
  • Damp Undercoats - i.e. bonding coats finished the same day. Firm but still moist.
  • Plasterboard
  • Flat smooth concrete - apply PVA bond first.
  • Over skim - apply PVA bonding first.

Multi-finish should not be used on waterproof sand and cement for example a damp proof course where board finish should be used.
